Accessibility statement

Updated: 7 September 2026.

Global Food Round aims to make this prototype usable for people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities, including older users.

Color vision

Colorblind mode is an additional accessibility feature designed to reduce reliance on color. It does not replace the accessibility of the ordinary presentation. Important information and interactive states are intended to remain identifiable through text, luminance, borders, outlines, symbols or programmatic state rather than hue alone.

Keyboard and focus

The site provides visible keyboard focus and a skip-to-main-content link. Interactive controls are intended to be operable without a mouse. Native dialog windows retain their semantic dialog behavior, and the site adds focus return to the control that opened a dialog.

Screen readers and structure

The public pages provide a page-level heading, labelled primary navigation, alternative text for meaningful images, accessible names for image-viewer controls, live announcements for relevant form errors, and programmatic pressed states for selection controls.

Zoom, reflow and mobile use

The prototype uses responsive layouts intended to preserve access to content and controls when the viewport becomes narrower or text is enlarged. Complex map content may require two-dimensional interaction because of its geographic nature.

Forms and errors

Required fields retain native browser validation. Invalid fields are also marked programmatically and their validation message is announced to assistive technology. Common identity and contact fields use recognized autocomplete purposes where applicable.

Colorblind mode is not a certification

The presence of Colorblind mode does not by itself establish legal or standards conformance. The project does not describe the site as “fully accessible”, “legally compliant” or formally certified on the basis of that feature.

Standards status

Where Israeli web-accessibility requirements apply, the project is being adapted toward Israeli Standard 5568 at Level AA and its WCAG-based accessibility requirements. This prototype has not been represented as having completed a formal statutory accessibility audit or certification.

PDF documents

Some legal and compliance PDFs include tagged document structure for assistive technology. PDF tagging is not consistent across every PDF, and formal PDF/UA conformance has not been certified. If a PDF presents a barrier, an accessible alternative format can be requested.

Report a barrier or request another format

No separate accessibility coordinator has been appointed for this prototype. Accessibility requests may currently be sent to amirworlddevelop@gmail.com. If possible, include the page, device, browser and assistive technology involved. Accessibility issues will be reviewed so the affected content or interaction can be corrected where reasonably possible.
