Every continent belongs on the map. Continents are navigation labels only — no continent is labeled “poor.” Countries are researched individually according to local need, transparent purchasing options and distribution-organization readiness. Antarctica is shown as a continent, while having no sovereign countries to add to a food basket.
91 kg of food + 10 L cooking oil were purchased for the real Metro Manila pilot for ₱10,328.85 (US$168.93), with delivery confirmation recorded separately. The underlying order/retailer-transaction/invoice/receipt records are retained in the private evidence file; public documentary images are withheld unless and until a publication-rights review approves public display. Recipient-side distribution report received.
Basket examples currently available include India, Kenya, Somalia, Ghana and Madagascar. Each keeps its existing local price, quantities and basket-specific information.
A country turns verified in the Distribution Network only after the published verification standard is met, including independent review, direct contact, supporting-documentation review and any applicable documented-pilot requirement. A confirmation document alone is not sufficient. Public payment remains unavailable unless and until all applicable legal, compliance, operational and verification launch conditions are satisfied.

Transparent global food rounds
The intended model is for each completed round to fund documented local food purchases across countries that are ready and verified for that round. When funding is enabled, donors are intended to be able to fund a small share, a larger share or the full current round, subject to the final funding terms.
Recurring global action
The platform is designed around consecutive rounds. When funding is enabled and a round reaches its funding goal, purchases are intended to proceed only for countries that remain ready and verified at the time of purchase. Any next round would open under the applicable funding and verification terms.

What a future public review would show
Small amount. Local impact.
Global Food Round intentionally tests modest allocations — amounts that can look relatively small in a visitor's currency — and then documents what those funds can purchase through real local prices. The purpose is not to make money look larger. The purpose is to make local purchasing power visible, concrete and capable of being checked against documented evidence that is published where appropriate or otherwise retained for review.
Use a reference amount that feels accessible enough to understand at a glance, without pretending the same amount creates the same result in every country.
Use local retailers, supermarkets, wholesalers or suppliers that have passed the applicable verification checks for the purchase, and calculate the basket from itemized local prices and delivery costs.
Translate documented spending into kilograms, liters and itemized food quantities. Later, add recipient-side distribution reporting that has been received and reviewed.
Exchange rates alone are not treated as impact; documented local purchasing power is. USD is used only as an optional reference for readability, not as the procurement currency or a promise of a fixed exchange rate.

This pilot intentionally uses a reference amount that can look modest, then shows the documented local basket behind it. The retained purchase record states a documented purchase amount of ₱10,328.85. The project records the order as placed. On 13 Aug 2026, Rise Against Hunger Philippines confirmed by email that the food order had been delivered and attached a photo of the goods received. This recipient-side confirmation is retained separately from the transaction records; public documentary images are withheld unless and until publication-rights review approves public display. These figures describe food ordered and received for the pilot; distribution impact is reported separately by the recipient organization.
Reference only: ≈ US$168.93 is the communication reference supplied for this pilot order. It is not a live exchange-rate quote. Recipient-side delivery confirmation: on 13 Aug 2026, Rise Against Hunger Philippines confirmed by email that the food order had been delivered and attached a photo of the goods received. This confirmation is retained separately from the transaction records; public documentary images are currently withheld unless and until publication-rights review approves public display. Sales invoice received: WalterMart Sales Invoice 00-00000000387, dated 13 Aug 2026, documents ₱10,427.85 before a ₱99.00 coupon and a final card charge of ₱10,328.85. WalterMart also confirmed by email on 20 Aug 2026 that the attached photo is the receipt for reference. Recipient-side distribution report received: on 25 Aug 2026, a Rise Against Hunger Philippines Programs Officer transmitted the donation report and stated that the donated food items were used in the Mobile Kitchen activity in Maybunga, Pasig and the feeding program at Better World Tondo in Tondo, Manila. The recipient organization reports approximately 500 households and 700 children reached.
Future worldwide comparison
As real local pricing is documented, the site can show a comparable modest USD reference beside each country's actual local-currency basket. The USD figure helps visitors understand scale; it does not replace the local receipt. Each country remains calculated from its own current prices, delivery costs and documented quantities.
The cost of a future global Round should be the sum of real local country costs — never simply the number of countries × one assumed amount. The aim is to show how modest-looking amounts could relate to multiple family-sized food allocations across the network, while publishing actual family impact only after distribution reports are received.

Transaction evidence is retained in the private evidence file and is not publicly displayed unless and until an appropriate publication basis is documented and public display is approved. Those order/retailer-transaction/invoice/email records document the purchase and receipt record; they do not by themselves prove final beneficiary distribution. Recipient-side delivery confirmation and the recipient-side distribution report are retained as separate evidence records. The supporting recipient-side distribution report is retained in project records. Public evidence is published only where an appropriate publication basis exists. Personal, account and security information is redacted where needed. Third-party retailer and organization names are used for factual identification only. Unless expressly stated, no endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation or commercial partnership is claimed. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners. Global procurement backbone
The next verification step is to test whether a very small number of neutral, professional suppliers can cover the map under one consistent purchasing and documentation standard. No supplier is shown as approved, partnered or globally covering the map until that coverage is confirmed in writing.
Every purchase record must identify the actual purchaser or purchasing account. The delivery recipient is recorded separately and cannot replace the buyer on the audit trail.
Each shipment must carry its own order or purchase reference, itemized food list, package sizes, quantities, final price and delivery destination.
Any refund, credit or price adjustment must return to the original payment route or purchasing account — never as cash or credit to the consignee or receiving organization.
Shipment ID, proof of delivery and recipient acknowledgment must connect back to the same order reference before a delivery can be marked documented.
Same rule for Israel and Palestinian Territories
Any supplier considered for these country entries must meet the same buyer-identification, itemization, refund-control and proof-of-delivery requirements. A supplier is not treated as covering either country entry until the route and documentation are confirmed in writing.
Current stage: candidate master suppliers are being researched privately. Their names and claimed coverage are not presented here as verified facts before direct written confirmation.
Verification standard
Official identity, quotation, invoice capability, payment route, product quality and delivery coverage.
Organizational identity and lawful operating basis where applicable, receiving location, practical storage/handling capability, proof of receipt and distribution reporting.
Supplier-side delivery evidence is checked separately from recipient-side acknowledgment, inventory reconciliation and any proportionate post-distribution verification.
Where lawful and supported by an applicable publication basis, publish enough redacted evidence to support quantity, price, delivery and distribution claims without exposing unnecessary personal data, security-sensitive details, confidential payment information or material that the project is not entitled to publish.
Public record
Research volunteer network
Global Food Round now lists 195 countries worldwide plus 55 additional map destinations, including Kosovo and Taiwan as additional map entries. Volunteers can research potential local suppliers and food-distribution organizations across the listed country and additional-map entries. Every submission remains a Candidate until it is independently checked.
Funding safeguards · before donations open
This prototype does not accept donations or public payments, and nothing on this page is an instruction to send funds now. Before any public funding is enabled, the checkout will identify the legal entity or fiscal sponsor that legally receives and administers funds, the payment route, receipt issuer, applicable fees, allocation rules, cancellation/refund rules, and any legally required fundraising or solicitation disclosures. Whether future communications or funding activity require registration, authorization or other compliance steps will be assessed for the actual jurisdictions, audience and payment flow before launch. No statement on this prototype means that a future payment will be tax-deductible.
The receiving legal entity or fiscal sponsor, payment route, receipt responsibility, applicable fees and any tax-deductibility status will be disclosed before a person commits funds.
For the selected-destination path, the displayed model is 80% for chosen-destination baskets and 20% for the shared Whole-World Pool. Before funding opens, binding terms will define permitted uses, reallocation authority, failed or blocked transactions, accounting, unused balances and any refund rights.
Prices, stock, delivery capability and distribution-organization readiness can change. Final terms will state how substitutions, price changes, failed execution, unused balances, cancellations and any refunds are handled.
Basket-ready, purchase documented, delivery confirmed and distribution report received are separate stages. Family-impact figures are identified as recipient-reported after supporting distribution reporting is received and reviewed; they are not described as independently verified by Global Food Round unless a separate independent-verification standard has actually been met.
Funding protection principle: a preview is not a promise. Country selection expresses an intended allocation only under the funding terms that will apply if funding later opens; it does not guarantee a specific product, supplier, route, delivery date, recipient count, exchange rate, charitable status or tax deduction.
